My name is Ruth, I am a follower of Jesus, and live in beautiful Suffolk with my wonderful husband, grown up daughter, and one very naughty cockapoo who brings a bit of mayhem to our lives. I was a homeschool mum for 8 years and as part of that my daughter and I enjoyed playing with various arts and crafts and seeing what we could create. When my daughter moved on to an apprenticeship, I had some time on my hands and started running some mini retreat and craft workshops at a local Christian Retreat centre, “The Place by The Water” in Shottisham.

These verses inspired me. I wanted to help people connect with God and bring them closer to Him through crafting.
The aim of these sessions was to create a space where people could come together, to explore something of God’s enormous love and create something beautiful to remind us of His nature.
I started putting together some craft kits including any prayers, Bible passages, suggested worship songs and a short reflection so people could also enjoy these times at home.
I hope you enjoy and have some special times drawing near to God at home while making something you love.
